ASE Bakes is a local bakery based in Chester, NJ, specializing in a variety of fresh, homemade baked goods. From sourdough and specialty breads to pastries, cakes, cookies, and brownies, we offer a delectable selection of treats made with care and attention to quality. Our breads and baked goods have been featured at local events like the CPC Peach Festival and Holiday Extravaganza, and we launched our home-based cottage food business in 2024. Whether you're looking for a weekly staple or a special order, we invite you to reach out and see what we can offer.
Please note as a licensed cottage food operation (CFO #2105) in the state of NJ that routinely uses wheat, tree nuts, peanuts, milk and other common food allergens, we cannot proffer gluten- or nut-free products, due to the risk of cross-contamination in a home kitchen environment.
We make a variety of sourdough and yeast breads. We generally have challah and sourdough but also offer naturally leavened French, Nordic, German and other styles whole grain breads as well as dinner rolls for holiday dinners.

600g (20 oz) round (boule) or oval (batard) loaves made only with regional whole grain and King Arthur flours, water, salt and our levain started in 2005
A variety of approximately 2 lb rye breads in Nordic and German styles on a rotational basis made with regionally sourced Rye flour and sourdough levain.
